Pace to Showcase BAO-IR™ at PACK EXPO 2026

FAIRFIELD, NJ, October 1, 2026 – Pace Packaging, a leading manufacturer of automated bottle unscrambling, orienting, and container-handling systems, will showcase its BAO-IR™ Bottle Orienter at Booth S-3737 during PACK EXPO International 2026, October 18–21 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The BAO-IR will run live as part of an integrated personal care application with Axon, demonstrating bottle orientation and clear-sleeve twin-pack creation.
Built on Pace’s proven Omni-Line BAO design, the BAO-IR features a reengineered open-frame structure designed to improve technician access, simplify maintenance, and support faster bottle changeovers. Servo-driven technology provides smooth, accurate orientation from any starting position to the correct-label-out position at speeds up to 450 bottles per minute.
In the integrated application, the BAO-IR™ will orient sun spray bottles to face forward before they are paired and move downstream to the Axon ZPT Shrink Sleeve Applicator. The ZPT then applies a clear overwrap to create the finished twin pack, maintaining the intended bottle orientation for consistent product presentation.
The BAO-IR reflects Pace’s broader approach to bottle handling, with equipment designed to accommodate a wide range of container shapes, sizes, materials, and production requirements. Additional solutions include hoppers, tote dumpers, conveyors, and integrated container-handling systems, supported by in-house engineering for application-specific needs.
